From the slipcase rear: 1972 saw the release of Nick Drake's final album. It was finished in October 1971 and released on Island Records in the UK. It features only Nick's vocal and guitar and was engineered by John Wood at Sound Techniques Studios in South London. It includes the song 'Pink Moon' that was used for a Volkswagen commercial in the US in the spring of 2000. The album has been digitally remsatered in 24-bit HDCD [see below] and includes new photos, lyrics and extended packaging.
