Notes:
You know who Bobby Whitlock is, don't you? He's rock royalty of the
first order. Recognize any of the songs in the setlist? Did you think
Eric 'Derek' Clapton wrote them? Uh, no. Not without Bobby. And he can
sing them just fine without Eric too. This was an amazing concert on a
little stage at the Saxon Pub. Bobby's wife Coco (formerly married to
Delaney of Delaney & Bonnie, of course) sings and plays with him. She's
the whole package too. You know these two could tell you some stories,
and that's what happens here. I had to edit out some rambling from Bobby,
because he's very, very thankful to the man above to be alive. As he should
be. But there's enough great music and stories for a fascinating evening.
And we've got a great recording of it all from right in front of the stage.
If you like Derek & the Dominoes or Delaney and Bonnie you're gonna love this.
