Notes

Hole is comprised of frontwoman/guitarist Courtney Love, guitarist Eric Erlandson, bassist Melissa auf der Maur and drummer Patty Schemel. Hole's second LP Live Through This, was one of the most critically acclaimed releases of 1994. For their debut performance on "MTV Unplugged," Hole's set list includes "Miss World," "Drown Soda," "He Hit Me (And It Felt Like A Kiss)," "Doll Parts," and "Softer, Softest." "MTV Unplugged" with Hole was taped at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music in New York City in February of 1995.

An excerpt from the MTV Unplugged book..."Offstage, however, preparation was smoother than anyone could have hoped. During rehearsals, Courtney and Madonna (who originally tried to enlist Hole for her record label, Maverick) met for the first time. Not to mention the added dimension of having Drew Barrymore (who dates Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson) and her friend Patricia Arquette in the studio for the taping. It was the most Hollywood presence we'd had since Al Pacino."
