Down at the Doctors captures Lee Brilleaux's last concert before his death in the spring of 1994. Culled from concerts performed on January 24 and 25, 1994, the set features many of Feelgood's classic songs, including "Milk and Alcohol" and "Down at the Doctors," plus unexpected, delightful covers of Nick Lowe's "Heart of the City" and "Road Runner." It's a surprisingly energetic and thoroughly enjoyable record that serves as an excellent epitaph for Brilleaux, who remained one of the hardest-working performers in rock & roll until the very end.
