      audience > LP? > cassette > cdr

This is a very clear audience recording from the band’s pre-Xmas date at the Music Machine in 1978. Probably copied from a vinyl LP with the rather unimaginative title “Music Machine”. Paul’s voice is pretty shot at the end of the Apocalypse tour to promote All Mod Cons so he calls on the audience to help him out. The band is in a relaxed, festive mood and lay down a strong set. Unfortunately the first few tracks were not recorded (most likely comprising “All Mod Cons”, “To Be Someone”, Billy Hunt”, “In The Street Today” and “It’s Too Bad”).
