On November 4, 1985, Nils quickly (very quickly) went into the studio to record some demos for Roy Buchanan. He was submitting these songs to Roy...presumably for Roy to choose and record one for his next studio album (to my knowledge, Roy never used any of them). By studio standards, this was done in a fairly "down & dirty" manner. Two mics (one for the guitar, one for the vocal) were set up, Nils was given a chair, he sat down with his acoustic guitar, the engineer hit "record" and Nils banged out these songs. He was in and out of the studio in less than an hour.

None of these songs have previously been released (at least, not in this form). Little Bit O'Time was recorded (with the band) during the "Flip" sessions, although a different version (recorded at Air Studios in London) was released as a b-side. Nils has performed most of these songs live at one time or another.
